Great,
For now, we haven't any host space for community contributed packages :(
So put it everywhere you can, and leave a link to it here, So we will give it to users.

(There are many free file sharing services.)

I would like to help. I am currently using Debian (Lenny and Sid (Sidux)) and Fedora 11 (all 64 bit systems). I would like to help with the packaging for these platforms. As I am new to this, I would like to start with one and move on to the others.
So, how can I help? Do I just get the source and build a package? Then where do I put it (after making sure it works of course!)?
I only have limited time at the moment as I am about to move country.
Regards
James
