There isn't a direct solution for this, But you can install a wordpress instance in your machine and add it to Blogilo, then after publishing to your online blog, send it to this local blog too :)

Maybe I would like to write a personal journal as well as my blog. This would be great software for it but I would want to have this blog encrypted. Just a suggestion. Thanks for great software;)

My suggestion is to maintain a synced copy of the blog locally. This would be in effect both a backup and also a way to work on the blog offline. Maybe this works already but I can't figure it.

One of the features I have come to use on every post on my blog is WordPress' ability to get a shortlink to my posts. Could we get this ability added to a future release of Blogilo? I'd love to be able to write and publish with Blogilo without the need to open the post in WP to get the shortlink to be able to publicize my new posts on Facebook and Twitter.

Unfortunately, the problem is related to blogilo, Sometimes it can not convert html codes correctly when user switches to the visual editor.
But we plan to improve post editors in later versions, and hope to fix such problems.

Hi, I'm a new user. Blogilo is really nice! I'm looking forward to this feature as well. When I put CSS styles in the HTML editor they get stripped; haven't figured out if Wordpress is doing it or Blogilo. No problem adding them as a final touch in Wordpress just before publishing, though -- Blogilo is still a nicer way to compose a post, so I will keep using it.

the creators of this program make great effort to improve the skills of it. However, we the users, "should" be creative with the use of the tool.

Try using "style =" float: right; "in HTML Editor, will solve most of what you need. Also, remember that you can use Code into your post.

hoihoi,

last week I tested bilbo (Karmic, KDE 4.3.4) and I'm excited! from the wiki I know, that media upload isn't available for blogspot. it's the same with many other clients I tested. so I think there are some hard API problems or something else.

but would it be possible to avoid it until this is solved? I consider an image upload to imageshack.us or imagebin.ca (and auto-catching img-url) like the pastebin-plasmoid does!?

this would be a big improvement for now.

thanks for audience,

Heya,

great improvements in the new 1.0 beta1! Kudos to you!

To write nice looking articles I usually make the text float around embedded objects (picture, videos etc.).
So that would be my new feature request.. the ability to do that using the wysiwyg editor :)

Or did I miss this feature in the latest beta release?

Today, while trying to reproduce this bug. I answered more than 10 times that I don't wont my, just sent, blog post to be closed. I several times answered that i want to download exactly 20 last post from blog... It would be good(and not hard) to add "Remember my decision" flag.
It would help to make usage experience better. Also it may be add those options to "Сonfigure Bilbo Blogger" menu.

It is just an example of how is latex code posted to wordpress.com.
It is taken from http://support.wordpress.com/latex/
and would generate this image.
here are some more examples, if you need them

$latex e=mc^2$
-> image

$latex \arcsin(x)=x+\sum\limits_{k=1}^n\frac{(2k-1)!!}{2^kk!(2k+1)}x^{2k+1}+o(x^{2n+2})$
-> image

Hmm, Seems good idea, But actually we haven't good knowledge about Latex.
I should check if we can do it!

PS. what is this line you give us?

$latex i\hbar\frac{\partial}{\partial t}\left|\Psi(t)\right>=H\left|\Psi(t)\right>$

Bilbo is a realy great work and I like it very much. Thanks dor such a good tool.
It would be great to add one more feature to it.
Wordpress suports adding Latex formulas to post (http://support.wordpress.com/latex/). It would be realy great to give at least preview of submited to blog formulas(I know that latex editing is no so easy to implement)
At current moment usage of "Post preview" feature shows us latex code, while real blog page shows normal formulas.
To reproduce just include

$latex i\hbar\frac{\partial}{\partial t}\left|\Psi(t)\right>=H\left|\Psi(t)\right>$

into your post to wordpress.
