&#60;p&#62;I solved the problem differently, because unfortunately the instructions did not work for me.&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;ol type=&#34;1&#34;&#62;&#60;li&#62;Back up the file ~/.kde4/share/config/bilborc (KUbuntu 9.10 it's ~/.kde/share/config/bilborc)&#60;/li&#62;&#60;li&#62;Open the file with a text editor and then change the value for &#34;showToolboxOnStart=&#34; to true&#60;/li&#62;&#60;/ol&#62;

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Seeker - Same thing happened to me so this is not an isolated incident. I followed your instructions and it brought back the right side panel. Many thanks since without your post I never would have known where to find the config files for certain KDE apps as I always expect config files to be in my &#34;Home&#34; directory, not buried 3 levels down in it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I wonder if the devs are aware of this bug?
