   when i implemented "cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=kde4-config --prefix ..", there appeared this error:

   [root@Rong build]# cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=kde4-config --prefix ..
   CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:84 (MESSAGE):
   ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in
   /root/.kde/share/apps;/usr/share/kde-settings/kde-profile/default/share/apps;/usr/share/kde4/apps
   Call Stack (most recent call first):
   CMakeLists.txt:6 (find_package)

   -- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
   [root@Rong build]#

   I'm a newbie for linux OS and don't know how to fix it. Would someone please help me? thanks a lot!

   I'm using Redflag Linux DT7---kernel 2.6.28, kde4.2.2, Qt4

   You need kdelibs and kdepimlibs development packages! e.g. for Debian/Kubuntu kdelibs5-dev kdepimlibs5-dev

   And don't forget that you should place "kde4-config --prefix" in command in two backtik(`) characters!

   Thanks for your help. But I found kdelibs already installed in my OS and yum informs me it is the newest ---kdelibs-4.2.2-1rf2.dt7.i386

   [root@Rong Furong]# yum search kdepimlibs
   insert plugin: refresh-packagekit
   ============================= Matched: kdepimlibs ==============================
   kdepimlibs.i386 : K Desktop Environment 4 - PIM Libraries
   kdepimlibs-akonadi.i386 : Akonadi runtime support for kdepimlibs
   kdepimlibs-apidocs.i386 : kdepimlibs API documentation
   kdepimlibs-devel.i386 : Development files for kdepimlibs

   [root@Rong Furong]# yum search kdelibs

   kdelibs-common.i386 : Common files for KDE 3 and KDE 4 libraries

   kdelibs3-apidocs.i386 : KDE 3 API documentation.
   kdelibs3-devel.i386 : Header files and documentation for compiling KDE 3

   it seems these two packages already installed? I'm not sure what's the matter?

   But this output tells us that these packages are on repositories! And doesn't tell anything about if they already installed or not!

   You should do:
   yum install kdelibs-devel kdepimlibs-devel

   You also need qt-sqlite package! (I think)

   Anyway I'm not an RPM based distro user, and found all of these via google ;)
